About the Legion:
The Royal British Legion provides financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their dependants. Currently nearly 10.5 million people are eligible for our support and we receive thousands of calls for help every year.
The Legion was founded in 1921 as a voice for the ex-Service community and over 380,000 members continue to ensure that his voice does not go unheard. Although the needs of ex-Service people have changed over the years, we are still there to safeguard their welfare, interests and memory. British Service people are in action around the world every day of the year. They know that if they need our support-now or in the future - the Legion is always on active duty for them.

Your Local Branch:
The Branch was formed in the Autumn of 2007. It embraces a wide area from Xativa to the North, Rugat to the East, Alcoi to the South and La Font de la Figuera to the West and all towns and villages between.
It currently has 54 members, with others in the pipeline, who enjoy a varied Social Life, which in turn produces revenue for the Branch and more recently the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
For details of our extensive Social programme see relevant page. Also where and when General Meetings take place. The Branch is always looking for new Members to join us and be advised you do not have to be Ex Service to become a member.
Our meetings which are currently every 3 months take place at Restaurante El Pilar, Ontinyent The location of this venue can be seen under meeting place.
